Help Us Care for Jeannessa’s Friends!
We are in need of volunteers to help us launch Jeannessa’s Friends to carry on Jeannessa’s passion and drive for caring for pets. While specific skill sets may be helpful for particular roles, the biggest qualification at this time are people who have the time, energy, and motivation to assist in getting this organization and annual fundraising events started. Many paws make light work!
Board Members: Our Board of Directors will begin as a management board, made up of five or seven members, who will make decisions as to what events we shall hold to meet our mission. We currently have four board members who have combined skill sets that include finance, non-profit experience, and animal care and rescue. We are looking for additional people to bring different sets of skills. Most importantly, we need people who are committed to launching Jeannessa’s Friends.

Needed Spring/Summer 2026 (pending non-profit status):
Event Planning Committee Members: Looking for energetic people who will oversee and carry out the tasks associated with organizational events to be decided and scheduled by our Board of Directors. These events will be fun, community oriented, fundraising events. Examples of possible events are 5ks, pet fashion shows, or entertainment.
Marketing Committee Members: In need of people who are savvy at getting the word out via social media, networking, and other means of publicity.
